Anyone else notice the sandbar has shifted?

Walked out at low tide yesterday and the sandbar that used to be near the second lifeguard chair has moved a good 40 feet north. Made for some surprisingly deep water where it used to be ankle-high. Worth knowing if you've got little ones.
