No real point to this post other than the sunset from the rocky point last night was absolutely unreal, orange and pink for a solid twenty minutes. Small reminder of why we live here.
Confirmed with the rec department — lifeguards will be on duty starting Saturday, 10am to 6pm through Labor Day. Swim at your own risk before/after those hours as always.
Red flags are up at both lifeguard stands this morning because of the swell coming through. Please keep an eye on kids and weaker swimmers — the current pulls hard past the breakers today.
