First summer here and trying to figure out the best spot to watch the fireworks without fighting for parking. Does everyone just go to the beach or is there a better local spot?

The town's summer concert series on the green starts next Thursday at 6:30. Bring a blanket, food trucks will be there. Lineup is on the town website if anyone wants to plan around a favorite band.
Registration for the annual 5K benefiting the food pantry just opened online. Early bird pricing ends in two weeks, and they're doing a kids' fun run beforehand this year too.
Town posted official trick-or-treat hours: 5:30 to 8pm on Halloween. Porch light on means you're participating, as always.
The farmers market kicks off this Saturday at 9am in the town green parking lot. Usual vendors plus a couple new ones — heard there's a new sourdough baker joining this year.
Trying to figure out if it's worth bringing the kids or if it's mostly a quick thing. Last year we missed it entirely and felt bad about it.
